Our Sweet Nanny Harris

This is Luke and Madison's precious Great-Grandmother, Nanny Harris. It is Jonathan's grandmother. She is one of our prayer warriors! You ask Nanny to pray for something and you know that she does! We met Nanny and Nana at Fuddruckers last night for supper. Luke and Madison had a great time!

Waiting for Nana and Nanny to arrive :)

Luke decided that Nanny needed to taste some of his sweet potato fries!

So then Madison decided that Nana should taste them too! Monkey see monkey do!

We really enjoyed spending time with Nanny! What a wonderful woman!

Denver Downs

Yesterday, we took Luke and Madison to Denver Downs! My sister, Jennifer, Austin, and my dad came too. It was a little hotter and more crowded than I was expecting but we still had a blast. There were so many things going on! If you haven't gone yet they will be open this coming Halloween weekend. It is worth going! You know I am NOT good at narrowing down picture and I took a ton that I loved so here they are :)

1, 2, 3 Jump to Papa!

The bigger kids could run up and down the hay bales. Austin loved it! The scary thing was every once in a while he would disappear! Then his sweet little head would pop right back up :)

Luke had NO fear! He was ready to touch all of the animals!

Adorable! He loves his Daddy!

They had a cute little horse swing the kids could ride. Madison loved this!

Checking out the pumpkins

Now that is a good looking cowboy!

Ha! They look so innocent!

Luke the scarecrow :)

Rule Breaker?? No way!

I spy a sweet, little girl in the corn maze!

These are the moments when I want time to freeze. Standing there watching them run up the path together just melted my heart!

How do you not just want to eat this little face up! He is such a joy!

Uh oh! Boys gone wild! He likes to show us his tummy now!

Austin giving Madison sweet sugar!

Austin loves to talk to his babies brothers! The twins are due in February.

She looks so little. I know my dad slept good last night because they walked him all over the farm!

Taking a hayride :)
I LOVE this one!

Aunt Jennifer and Madison

Austin found the perfect pumpkin right when he stepped off the back of the trailer. It must have been waiting on him!

We were walking back to the farm and Madison just stopped and picked up this pumpkin all by herself. It was so funny!!!!

Please do me a favor and click on this picture so you can see it bigger. Her precious little face makes me want to cry!

This is how Luke rolls. He puts his arms like this when he rides in our wagon too!

I LOVE this one too! They wanted to ride this over and over!

Our attempt at a family picture. My sweet dad tried and we will take it :)

What great memories we made! We already can't wait to go back next year!

3 more new posts below!!

The Children's Garden

A couple of weeks ago my dad and I were going to take Luke and Madison to the zoo one morning. However, when we pulled up to the zoo we saw about 20 school buses and a really long line! We decided to go with plan B and head into downtown Greenville. We walked around downtown and went to the Children's Garden. The weather was perfect and we had a great time!

Papa Don sitting with Luke and Madison as they watched the ducks in the river.

I love Dad's face here!

Madison thought the Gingerbread Man's house was too cool! This makes me excited about Christmas coming up!

It is so hard to get a good picture of all three! So I had to go with the good one of Luke and Madison :) Dad was making funny noises to get them to laugh but I think he forgot to smile :)

Hey Mr. Bear!

I love the little things that entertain them...like a water fountain!

So refreshing

I think she was giving it a test pat to see if it was real

This little piggy went to the market

A random, beautiful butterfly :)

Not so sure about this guy!

Madison's trademark puckered lip :)

Thanks Dad for spending the day with us! We had a lot of fun!

Nascar Baby!

My step-dad, Jackie, is a big race fan. He always has been! He use to drive the tow trucks at races. He met my mom when I was in 10th grade and I thought that was the most redneck thing ever! Well, one weekend he took my friend Danielle and I to our first race in Atlanta. We ended up loving it. For Father's Day this year we told him we wanted to take him to the Nascar Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC. We loaded up in a 15 passenger van for the day. We had a GREAT time! They had SO much to do there! There was a lot of history to read and see as well as a lot of hands on activities. I think more than anything we were happy to just spend the day with family and enjoying the amazing blessing that God put in our lives...We love you Jackie! Thank you for all you have done for our family!

Jackie explaining to Austin what happens when a tire blows up :)

Austin recognized this car from the movie Cars!

I love this picture! The boys...

The engineer and body man checking out the engines

#3 was Jackie's man...now he has 3 grandkids to share it with

HOW FUN WAS THIS?!?!? Jonathan, Ty, and I were able to act like a pit crew and change a tire and fill it up with gas! I wish I had a video for how funny this was! I think we did a pretty good job!

Peek-a-boo I see you!

Go! Go! Go! Austin changing a tire!

Madison LOVES her Uncle Ty! I think she has him a little wrapped up too :)

Getting some kisses from her Papa

So, you could actually get in some of the cars and drive them like a video game. I was horrible! All the boys beat me! Ty took home the winning lap. I really wanted to show these boys up but I kept wrecking!

Best buddies

Me and my little man

Hello?? There was a neat tool shop and as we were looking in it the phone rang. Austin answered it and a man told him about the tools.

He is going to kill me for putting this on here :) Jonathan almost took home a great souvenir.
They are so sweet!

I think it took about 5 minutes for them to fall asleep!!

What a great, fun day!
